Who is Alara Woman’s Health, and how long have you been serving our community?
Alara Women's Health is a dedicated Women's healthcare practice offering a multidisciplinary approach to wellness. At Alara Women's Health, we are committed to improving the quality of life for individuals living with MS. Our specialized approach focuses on enhancing mobility, managing pain, and optimizing overall function from head to toes.
Through a comprehensive assessment of your unique needs, we develop personalized treatment plans combining exercise prescription, physiotherapy, and massage therapy where needed. Our experienced team works collaboratively to address the physical and emotional challenges associated with MS.
Our exercise physiologist offers in-depth assessments of strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness, while our physiotherapists provide hands-on therapy and movement guidance. Massage therapy complements these services by addressing muscle tension, flexibility and range of motion across the muscles and joints and promoting relaxation.

Tell us how your specialised services can help people living with Multiple Sclerosis?
Traditionally MS services are provided by Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists training in the area of Neurological Rehabilitation. Beyond the core areas of neurological physiotherapy, our staff have training in areas that relate to other specific challenges faced by women with Multiple Sclerosis.
These areas include Women's Health, where we can address any Pelvic Floor Dysfunction i.e. any Issues with bladder, bowel, and sexual function

Cardiopulmonary support
Breathwork and stress management education
PhysioPilates
Visceral Manipulation
Fatigue Management
Musculoskeletal support for chronic pain Management
Cancer and Lymphoedema support and management
What is the price involved, and how long is each visit?
Physiotherapy ; $199.99
Exercise Physiology: $166.99
Remedial Massage Therapy: $130
Our services are based on the hourly rates above. Our individual programs will determine the amount of time needed and if appropriate, we also offer group classes with other clients based on level of need. These classes can be with 2, 3 or 4 clients at a time to reduce cost.

Living with MS can be incredibly challenging. At Alara, we see the physical and emotional toll it takes to live with MS each day but we also see the determination, resilience and strength. We are so grateful to those of you that trust us with your care.
